Memory Cross is creating a line of cards to help parents teach their children to live healthier lives.  God has entrusted us with one body while here on earth yet today in America 33% of children and youth are overweight.  This number is triple what it was in 1963.  Parents now list obesity as the number one health concern.

Obesity causes a number of health problems in children that previously did not exist including high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and elevated blood cholesterol levels.  Being overweight has also been shown to cause low self esteem and depression. 

Former Surgen General Richard Carmona had this to say, "Because of the increasing rates of obesity, unhealthy eating habits and physical inactivity, we may see the first generation that will be less healthy and have a shorter life expectancy than their parents."

Living healthy lives and teaching our children to has always been something that we have felt strong about at Memory Cross so when we were approached about developing a line of cards we jumped on the opportunity.  This category will grow as we add new products.  These cards will mostly be sold to organizations involved in children's health: doctors, hospitals, insurance companies and non-profits involved in children's health, but we wanted to make them available on this website also.
