The story behind Memory CrossTM

The story of this company is not about us at all. It's about God's plan and how He can use you to change the world around you. We all have opportunities to serve others.  God wants us to open our eyes.  When we do we'll find plenty of  places where God wants to use you and me.

The idea for Memory Cross™ was conceived by Andy Lambert. Andy wanted something that could be used in children's sermons to teach kids scripture that was fun. The result is Memory Cross™.

In 1997, after ten years in the pastorate, Rev. Andy Lambert was appointed as a General Evangelist in the United Methodist Church. He is the founder of Isaac Ministries, an interdenominational ministry of evangelism and renewal.

In addition to preaching at many Conference events, Andy's uniquely diverse career has included ministry in small and large memberships, rural, inner-city, contemporary and traditional churches. He has a passion to reach youth for Christ, yet his preaching connects intergenerationally and cross-culturally.

Andy is the author of "Man-Eatin' Mutant Monsters from Mars" and co-author of the recently released, "Fuel for the Journey: A Guide for New and Growing Christians."

Rev. Lambert received a B.A. in Sociology from Appalachian State University and received his Master of Divinity in 1987 from Duke Divinity School. He has taught preaching at Pfeiffer University and is a sought after speaker throughout the Southeastern United States and the United Kingdom.

In 2004, Andy was awarded the Harry Denman Award for Excellence in Evangelism. His wife Renee is a second grade teacher and they have two daughters. Grace is eighteen and joy is fifteen.

Rev. Bill Gibson is a second-career minister — full time local pastor — who spent over 16 years working in the marketing field in interactive branding and business development, with a specializing niche of image marketing. He also served in the United States Marine Corps and Reserve for more than 10 years and is a veteran of the first Gulf War.

Bill is currently appointed as the Associate Minister of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church serving as the pastor to a growing contemporary congregation — 10:10 Worship. He has a passion for preaching and for reaching young people with the message of Jesus Christ, and also pastors the youth of the church. For the past several years, he has worked in support of Conference youth ministry serving on staff at SPIRITUS and Choose2Share Christ — C2SX — annual youth retreats.

He studied at East Tennessee State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and studied Business briefly at Tusculum College. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Ministry/Bible from Southern Christian University. Bill is continuing his graduate studies at Duke University and is currently working on his Masters of Divinity at Duke Divinity School.

Bill and his wife Traci have been married for more than 17 years and they have three children — Tyler is seventeen, Allison is fourteen, and Jackson is seven. They are originally from Kingsport, Tennessee.

Mike Vitamvas is the third part of this team. He is a partner in Wall Printing, which serves a number of industries including retail, apparel, hosiery, furniture, and food and beverage. They are also involved in the Christian Music Industry serving artists such as Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, KJ-52, Kutless and many more.
