The story behind Memory CrossTM
The story
of this company is not about us at all. It's about God's plan and how
He can use you to change the world around you.
We all have opportunities to serve others.
God wants us to open our eyes. When we
do we'll find plenty of places where
God wants to use you and me.
The
idea for Memory Cross™ was conceived by Andy Lambert. Andy wanted
something that could be used in children's sermons to teach kids
scripture that was fun. The result is Memory Cross™.
In
1997, after ten years in the pastorate, Rev. Andy Lambert was appointed
as a General Evangelist in the United Methodist Church. Currently he is serving at Forbush Friends Meeting, a church that was founded by his grandfather. He is the
founder of Isaac Ministries, an interdenominational ministry of
evangelism and renewal.
In
addition to preaching at many Conference events, Andy's uniquely
diverse career has included ministry in small and large memberships,
rural, inner-city, contemporary and traditional churches. He has a
passion to reach youth for Christ, yet his preaching connects
intergenerationally and cross-culturally.
Andy
is the author of "Man-Eatin' Mutant Monsters from Mars" and co-author
of the recently released, "Fuel for the Journey: A Guide for New and
Growing Christians."
Rev. Lambert
received a B.A. in Sociology from
Appalachian State University and received
his Master of Divinity in 1987 from Duke
Divinity School. He has taught preaching at
Pfeiffer University and is a sought after
speaker throughout the Southeastern United
States and the United Kingdom.
In
2004, Andy was awarded the Harry Denman Award for Excellence in
Evangelism. His wife Renee is a second grade teacher and they have two
daughters. Grace and Joy. You can keep up with him on Facebook.
