Outreach Postcards

The U.S. Post Office has developed a new program that will help your church reach more people.

The church has the most powerful message in the world and yet many churches in the United States are in decline.  One reason is because many churches don't effectively get their message out. 

Print is still one of the most effective ways to reach your neighbors.  In fact 79% of people scan or read their mail.  The Post Office has created a program that makes it easier and more affordable to let people know what's going on at your church. 

The Every Door Direct Mail program allows churches to send postcards to people in selected neighborhoods for only 14.5 cents per piece, plus the cost of the postcards.  The video shows how a new program works.  It's targeted toward business but you'll get the idea.

This program can have a significant impact on your church's growth.  Rick Warren in his book "The Purpose Driven Church" along with Bill Easum and Bill Cornelius in their book "Go Big, Lead your Church to Explosive Growth" both recommend using postcards to grow a church.
