This is the story of the birth of Moses and his adoption by Pharaoh's daughter.

Moses was one of the greatest characters in the Bible and it is a good story to share with your children. Here is a child who has God's hand on him at an early age. Raised as a Jew in Pharaoh's household he kills an Egyptian when he is a young man and flees to another country. But God is not done with him yet and one day he sees and amazing site: a bush that burns but never is burned up. When he approaches the site he meets God, who has some great news for him: God is going to free his people and Moses is the chosen man for the job. Moses response is not what is expected. Moses tries to get out of the job God is giving him, but God is not so easily persuaded. There are many lessons we can learn from the life of Moses: God calls us, God can work through us even if we are not focused on him, you can make mistakes and God still loves you.
